AUDITION – HEINCO/Nodapako IS SEEKING PERFORMERS FOR UPCOMING PROJECTS

Are you a parkour practitioner with an interest in dance and alternative movement? Or a dancer curious about parkour, acrobatics, or dance-acro? Then we’d love to hear from you!

Heinco/Nodapako is a physical performance company working with parkour and contemporary dance in an interdisciplinary and exploratory context. We explore the relationship between body, space, and movement – moving in the borderland between the urban and the poetic. We’re looking for performers who want to help push the boundaries of what parkour and dance can be in the field of performing arts.

We are holding an audition on June 9 for our upcoming production “Animulius”, as well as future touring works like “uventa” and “UNI”.

This is a closed audition by invitation only, based on submitted applications. We aim to create a safe and focused space for all participants.

Rehearsals and production work for Animulius is in August and September 2025, as well as for touring performances in 2026. Uventa and UNI are currently touring, with plans for continued national and international touring in the years ahead.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO…

– Have a background in parkour and are curious about dance and alternative movement

OR

– Are a dancer with interest in parkour, acro, or partnering work

We are looking for performers based in Norway, but international applicants are also warmly welcome! If you live abroad or have a long way to travel, a video audition may be possible – just let us know in your application.

About Animulius:

Animulius is an innovative project that merges parkour and dance, transforming public spaces into living artworks in creative and unexpected ways through the performers’ bodies, imaginative costumes, and scenography. The costumes evoke animal-like figures, making it easier for children to relate to – or imagine – the abstract. Through acrobatics, movement, and costume design, a magical world unfolds where the impossible becomes possible, and the possible becomes Animulius!

About UVENTA:
UVENTA is a unique performance experience combining dance, parkour, technology, and media. The piece explores time and reality through physical and visual displacements. Featuring two parkour artists, live music, and projections, the dynamic language of parkour is challenged to reflect on risk, play, and the human place within both visible and invisible networks.

The performance targets audiences aged 13 and up and is presented both outdoors and indoors, with the aim of reaching new and diverse audiences.

About UNI:

In UNI, we meet three men performing a humorous, naturalistic, and surprisingly acrobatic piece. Through an unpredictable approach to sound, movement, and song, they create a light yet captivating atmosphere. The audience is placed in a state of unknowing that disconnects them from their own realities and gently draws them into a unique sense of belonging shared between performers and spectators.
